Today somebody downstairs set something on fire... something really gross, judging by the smell. It might have been bacon grease. So their whole 2 floors of the house filled with smoke and their alarms were going off, etc... and so what happened? They opened the door into my stairwell. Their house emptied quickly of all smoke, because it all rose up the stairs into MY apartment.
Everything stinks, and yes I have to leave windows open (it's snowing currently) to try to get the clouds of smoke out.
Then our electicity went out for nearly 2 hours. Wow, it is boring when that happens.
